Do you ever get those tiny, hard little bumps on your skin, especially in the winter, that make it feel like chicken skin? I get them on the backs of my thighs and arms and they are itchy and annoying. Well, these tiny little bumps have a name: Keratosis Pilarsis (KP) and they affect nearly half of the world’s population. DERMAdoctor has developed the first product specifically designed to treat this chronic skin condition, KP Duty dermatologist moisturizing therapy for dry skin.
After showering and using KP Duty Body Scrub for medical-quality exfoliation, I pat my skin gently dry and slather it with KP Duty moisturizer. The thick and creamy formula contains medically potent levels of Glycolic Acid blended with Urea, the dermatologist recommended humectant, to soften and smooth away the driest roughest skin. It also includes botanical antioxidant powerhouse green tea to soothe and calm the skin, as well as Dimethicone to reduce moisture evaporation. It works miracles on KP, but also eczema, dermatitis and just really dry skin. The results seem almost instantaneous. After using KP Duty regularly, my skin has stayed soft and smooth throughout the winter and into the Spring.
The best part though is how much it has helped my kids. Their skin gets really dry as well, with rough, scaly patches. After using KP Duty, my daughter’s skin was soft again within just a day or two. No parent should be without it (although check with your pediatrician before using on children under two). Children have an even higher incidence of KP (50 to 80 percent of kids have it) and the condition is actually hereditary.
Stock up on this powerful solution to all of your dry skin woes so your skin is soft, supple and smooth in time for swimsuit season. Save with the KP “double Duty” two-pack and kiss your chicken skin goodbye.

Hi, Is there anybody out there who has had a biopsy and found out you have ‘granuloma-annulare’? It’s completly depressing. I feel extremely isolated from this skin disorder at times. Have tried what my Doctor has prescribed to no avail.
Sincerely,
Lynn
Thank you for providing this awesome article. View my very own!
I have had kp since i was ten yrs old. I didn’t care at first but now that i’m getting older i hate my arms. I’m ashame of them. Think they are gross. Have been using my sweater every single day to school even when is very very hot. I hate it. I’m fourteen now. Want a new change before i enter high school in July 2011. Throw my sweaters out and start with a new me not imbarass of myself. I get depress by the bumps all over my skin. Is irritating. I don’t know what people would say if my own family critized my kp a lot. I ran to cry and beg my mother about having soft looking skin. Hope this lotion and soap work for my treatment skin.
