Scrub Away the Chicken Skin Bumps

At some point or another, I think just about everyone has gotten those dry patches of tiny, hard bumps that feel like chicken skin on the backs of your thighs or arms (or even on your rear end). The combination of winter’s cold, dry air, long sleeves and heavier fabrics always seems to aggravate it for me. What I never knew was, this annoying and embarrassing condition actually has a name – keratosis pilarsis (KP) – and it is treatable.

Spring is sprung, the birds are singing and the sun is shining!  I don’t know about you, but I am ready to break out the spring/summer wardrobe and reveal a bit more skin (and NOT the pale, pasty kind please).  I wear sunscreen daily and don’t spend prolonged periods of time in the sun to avoid sun damage/melasma, so the best tan for me is a Self Tan!
