
If you have dry skin, you probably find that it gets much worse in the fall and winter if you live in a climate with four seasons. With the humidity decreasing outside and dry, heated air sucking the moisture out indoors, the winter can leave you feeling like a reptile with scaly, flaky skin. On the extreme end, some people may even exhibit patches of eczema, a chronic dry skin condition that often worsens in winter.

If you do nothing else to care for your skin, you should at least make sure to wash it every day (morning and evening) with a good cleanser to keep it free of pore-clogging dirt, oil and makeup and damaging free radicals. A good cleanser doesn’t necessarily need to be expensive; it just needs to be right for your skin type and/or condition.
